PLN features a long history in electricity trade of Indonesia. because the sole supplier of electricity in Indonesia, PLN is striving to extend quality of services to all or any Indonesian. In 1972, in accordance with Government Regulation No.17, the State-owned Electricity Company was enacted as a State-owned General Electricity Company and as PKUK accountable to produce electricity to fulfill public wants. whereas the govt. policy was giving chance to the personal Sectors to target the availability of electricity, the standing of PLN was modified from a General Company to Corporation’ yet as PKUK in providing electricity for public wants till the current.
